It is with much despair that I am composing this message....
Work this year has been absolutely insane. With every project that my team knocked out of the park, another 2 took its place. It has been non-stop for the past 6 months...so much so that:
- I had over 100 vacation hours that I couldn't take before our end of year (only could roll-over 40, we have a donation program for folks that have challenges so I donated the maximum of 40 and lost over 20).
- Had to send my wife and daughter to Brazil to visit family for a month without me (I usually go for a couple of weeks)
- Passed the torch on running the SpiceBuddies to the SpiceBuddy team (and they have been doing a fantastic job)
Add to the insanity that my team is one down and the replacement won't start until the 18th.
So, for the first time in 11 years, I won't be attending SpiceWorld....
